Project Engineer (QCS)

Project Engineer (QCS): Managing the technical delivery and commissioning of Quality Control Systems for the pulp and paper industry with an accent on system configuration, site safety, and performance optimization. Location: Must be based in Hanoi, Vietnam (Candidates must not require a work permit to work in Vietnam)

What you will do

• Lead system initialization, configuration, and internal testing for QCS projects.
• Organize and conduct customer Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).
• Manage site work, including safety, progress reporting, and schedule coordination.
• Ensure successful commissioning of sensors, measurements, and quality controls.
• Handle change requests and manage punch lists for timely project completion.
• Finalize system documentation and prepare commissioning reports including ROI analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• Must not require a work permit to work in Vietnam.
• 2–3 years of experience in project engineering and execution, including logic development.
• Strong knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Quality Control Systems (QCS).
• Hands-on experience in pulp and paper processes, plant operations, and maintenance.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

Nice to have

• Qualifications in Paper Technology or relevant experience in a paper mill.
• Experience with BricsCAD.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Valid driving license.
