What you will do

• Design and own features for distributed reactive messaging-based systems.
• Develop high-quality, maintainable code using Java and Scala.
• Architect solutions using streaming frameworks like Kafka and Akka Stream.
• Collaborate with QA and product teams to support critical production systems.
• Identify system interdependencies and proactively mitigate technical risks.
• Champion incremental improvements to cloud deployment processes and team workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and Scala for JVM-based production systems.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Proven track record in the full product lifecycle of 24/7 SaaS systems.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Academic degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with streaming frameworks such as Kafka or Akka Stream.
• Experience with AWS services like OpenSearch and DynamoDB.
