Félix is a hyper-growth Series B fintech startup building an AI-powered remittance ecosystem for Latin immigrants in the U.S. using blockchain and stablecoins.

What you will do

• Architect and implement scalable backend microservices within Payments, Disbursements, or GRC squads.
• Develop systems for secure fund collection and efficient transaction processing.
• Design robust services for timely disbursement of funds to beneficiaries.
• Build and enhance onboarding, KYC, and compliance systems to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Manage infrastructure to handle millions of daily requests using GCP, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices across the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Proven track record of building and iterating on software applications, particularly in the Fintech domain.
• Solid foundation in algorithms, data structures, and REST API design.
• Familiarity with Hexagonal Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, and gradual rollout practices.
• Knowledge of security protocols, compliance standards, and KYC/AML processes.
• English: Fluent or Advanced (C1) preferred; Upper-intermediate (B2) minimum required.
