What you will do

  • Oversee and administer payroll for multiple foreign entities across Canada, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific.
  • Manage relationships with multiple payroll providers, ensuring service delivery and vendor performance.
  • Lead regular governance calls and manage issue escalation for international payroll partners.
  • Validate payroll accuracy and track deductions or withholdings.
  • Partner with HR and Finance to identify and implement payroll process improvements.
  • Review and reconcile foreign payroll tax filings and assist with tax authority inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in payroll operations.
  • 5+ years of payroll experience in a global organization.
  • Proficiency in Workday Payroll is fundamental to success in the role.
  • Experience in a multinational organization, including payroll processing for foreign subsidiaries.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize data from various sources.
  • Advanced experience with Excel and working proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.

Nice to have

  • Asset Management or Financial Services industry experience.
  • Chartered Institute for Payroll Professional (CIPP) designation or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP).
