What you will do

• Design, develop, and deploy robust AI-powered applications, focusing on agentic and multi-modal systems.
• Architect scalable, production-grade software solutions using Python and AI/ML frameworks like PyTorch.
• Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle from prototyping to deployment and monitoring in AWS.
• Build and optimize data pipelines for training, evaluating, and serving AI models.
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, and DevOps.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical roadmaps and strategic planning.

Requirements

• Must be based in Canada
• 3+ years of software engineering experience building cloud solutions on AWS or similar platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Python or Go.
• Experience developing APIs using frameworks like FastAPI.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes-based environments.
• Experience with relational and vector databases.
• Experience operationalizing models using Amazon SageMaker or Bedrock.
