What you will do

• Design and implement AI model strategies, selecting between LLMs, SLMs, or traditional ML based on mission needs.
• Build agentic workflows and RAG architectures to ground AI responses in verified agency facts.
• Develop robust data pipelines using Spark, NiFi, and Kafka to prepare legacy data for AI.
• Optimize model inference via quantization and pruning, managing LLMOps to monitor performance and drift.
• Collaborate with government AI Centers of Excellence to ensure FedRAMP/IL5 compliance and ethics guardrails.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Data Engineering, ML, or Software Engineering, with 2+ years focused on Generative AI or Deep Learning.
• Expertise in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face.
• Proficiency with orchestration tools like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Haystack.
• Experience with hirify.global (CDP), Spark, and SQL/NoSQL/Vector databases.
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance and Active Counterintelligence (CI) or Full Scope (FS) Polygraph.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with PEFT and LoRA for domain-specific fine-tuning of foundational models.
• Experience with air-gapped deployments and managing AI workloads in disconnected environments.
• Experience installing and operating Kubernetes.
• Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science or Data Science.
