What you will do
- Own end-to-end delivery of technical projects including data center consolidations, site exits, and voice network migrations.
- Break down complex projects into actionable tasks with clear milestones, dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate service orders and drive execution across internal engineering teams and external carriers.
- Manage project financials, including budgets, forecasts, and validation of cost savings.
- Act as the primary point of accountability for project status, risks, blockers, and issue resolution.
- Produce executive-level reporting that translates technical progress into business impact.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on project management experience in telecommunications, network engineering, or data center operations.
- Demonstrated ownership of technical projects from initiation through closure, including budget and risk management.
- Working knowledge of voice services (SIP/VoIP), data center infrastructure, and private connectivity processes.
- Experience coordinating service orders, carrier escalations, and multi-party cutovers.
- Proficiency with project management tools like MS Project and Jira, and Excel for financial analysis.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to drive decisions and manage stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Prior experience in a telecom vendor, ISP, carrier, or wholesale voice environment.
- Experience supporting platform rationalization or post-merger integration projects.
- Familiarity with SBCs and session management technologies.
- PMP or equivalent certification.
