TL;DR

Consumer Tech Support Spec. (Hearing aids & mobile devices): Provide phone and email customer-focused technical support for hirify.global hearing aids, wireless accessories, and mobile devices with an accent on troubleshooting, documenting cases, and coordinating with internal departments to resolve issues. Focus on delivering empathetic customer service, maintaining product and mobile/wireless knowledge through training, and testing/evaluating new products prior to release.

Location: MN, Shakopee

Salary: $22-$24/hr

What you will do

  • Deliver exceptional phone and email customer service and technical support for hearing aids, wireless accessories, and mobile devices.
  • Document customer interactions and technical issues in company systems.
  • Resolve consumer problems efficiently while communicating technical information to non-technical users.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain current knowledge via continuing education and complete all assigned product training.
  • Test and evaluate new products prior to release; handle assigned projects.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of proven customer service experience, ideally in telecom, high-tech, or consumer electronics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven troubleshooting ability and creative problem-solving during live calls.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail, with timely follow-through and effective task management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Support experience with Apple and/or Android operating systems (preferred) and ability to troubleshoot mobile devices/apps and Bluetooth technology.
