What you will do

• Develop new media streaming and storage features for cloud-connected cameras.
• Design, threat model, program, review, and test software components.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver robust cloud-integrated solutions.
• Incorporate and contribute to open-source components like Linux, GStreamer, and ffmpeg.
• Share knowledge and technical competence across agile teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience with C programming in a Linux environment.
• Knowledge of C++, Rust, or Go.
• Experience with multi-threaded programming.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile team environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with open-source software development.
• Knowledge of network communication protocols like TCP and HTTPS.
• Familiarity with media streaming and video codecs such as RTSP, H264, and MP4.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
• Proficiency with tools like gdb, valgrind, docker, Jenkins, and wireshark.
