What you will do

• Oversee the client onboarding process, liaising with financial advisers, accountants, and NHSBSA.
• Gather and review client information to ensure high data accuracy.
• Handle NHS pension queries and maintain regular communication with clients regarding case progression.
• Input data into internal systems and prepare detailed NHS pension analyses.
• Ensure full compliance with the latest regulations, specifically the McCloud Remedy.

Requirements

• Must be based in the UK (England/Blackpool).
• Proven experience in NHS pensions administration or related professional services (accountancy, payroll, or financial services).
• In-depth knowledge of the NHS Pension Scheme and public sector reforms, particularly the McCloud Remedy.
• Solid grasp of payroll fundamentals, including payslips, gross pay, and pensionable pay.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Strong knowledge of tax implications related to NHS pensions (annual/lifetime allowance, tax relief).
• Experience handling complex pension queries and providing retirement planning guidance.
• Experience with GP Pension calculations.
