What you will do

• Drive portfolio growth in the region by working with the trade credit team and the head of business development.
• Develop and execute a plan to support key broker partners.
• Manage credit approval for existing clients and new business submissions.
• Perform financial analysis of broker submissions and compile detailed submissions for peer committee review.
• Support portfolio growth, client retention, and loss ratio targets.
• Develop corporate and banking client relationships via broker networks and direct engagement; negotiate policy terms and conditions.

Requirements

• Experience in credit insurance and political risk (or a related field) with a proven track record.
• Strong risk underwriting knowledge with financial analysis experience across a variety of countries and trade sectors.
• Experience with trade and export finance risk analysis, including single situation credit and whole turnover XOL business.
• Country risk knowledge and familiarity with insolvency legislation in major trading economies.
• Familiarity with analytical tools such as Fitch, Moody’s, Standard & Poor’s, Capital IQ, EIU, IHS Global Insight, BVD, or Bloomberg.
• Openness to using and/or embracing AI technology as a supporting underwriting tool.
