What you will do

  • Shape and execute pricing strategy for the Portfolio Solutions division and provide independent insight and challenge to leadership.
  • Partner with underwriting, finance, and risk teams to align pricing with business growth objectives and define/monitor KPIs.
  • Drive analytical excellence by developing pricing models and methodologies for structured reinsurance and delegated authority business.
  • Conduct tailored pricing analyses for structured insurance products using advanced stochastic modeling techniques and assess systemic risk drivers.
  • Lead project work with Finance, MI, and Reserving, providing regular stakeholder updates and independent assessment of underwriting decisions.
  • Build, lead, and mentor the pricing team, fostering analytical excellence and professional growth.

Requirements

  • Degree in a numerate discipline; actuarial qualification preferred.
  • Proven track record in analytical or pricing leadership with experience in the London Market.
  • Excellent technical and modeling skills, including proficiency in pricing tools, large data analysis, and portfolio management.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence strategic decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop teams.
