What you will do

• Partner with plant and corporate teams to improve cost visibility and ensure accurate daily job and inventory costing.
• Analyze manufacturing variances, job profitability, and performance to identify root causes.
• Support cost rolls, BOM analysis, and standard cost updates in collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Purchasing.
• Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, overhead analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Lead on-site cost accounting process improvements and cross-functional projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience in a manufacturing or product-based environment.
• Proficiency in core accounting processes including journal entries, account reconciliation, and month-end close.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Strong Excel skills and ability to interpret financial statements.

• Experience with SAP ERP systems.
