What you will do

• Define and implement the growth strategy for the Life Science portfolio.
• Act as the primary technical authority for complex underwriting decisions and referrals.

• Drive product innovation, including optimizing pricing, wordings, and coverage.
• Partner with distribution and actuarial teams to maximize commercial performance.
• Coach and upskill underwriters to foster a daring and technical underwriting culture.

Requirements

• Must have Life Science underwriting experience.
• Strong technical expertise across complex casualty risks.
• Proven track record of delivering profitable growth in an insurance portfolio.
• Confidence in broker-facing and market-facing leadership roles.
• Ability to balance technical detail with commercial decision-making and pace.
• Must be eligible to work in the UK.
