What you will do

• Perform system patching, upgrades, and maintenance across AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, and CloudFront.
• Support release cycles with change control, rollback readiness, and post-deployment validation.
• Triage and resolve infrastructure alerts using Datadog to improve observability and reduce noise.
• Participate in a follow-the-sun on-call rotation and incident response.
• Maintain runbooks, ticket hygiene, and operational documentation for repeatable processes.
• Automate recurring operational tasks and contribute to Terraform-based infrastructure resources.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in cloud operations or platform engineering.
• Proficiency with AWS core services including IAM, VPC, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes (EKS) operations and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of Linux and Windows server fundamentals.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and alert tuning.
• Must be based in London, UK.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting production workloads in financial services or regulated environments (PCI DSS, SOC).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and IaC using Terraform.
• Exposure to incident management and postmortem practices.
