What you will do

• Design and implement robust backend services within the JVM ecosystem.
• Take ownership of software throughout the entire lifecycle following DevOps principles.
• Define technical strategy and high-level design for complex business problems.

• Review code and mentor team members to ensure high standards of delivery.
• Continuously improve processes and contribute to feature definitions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Software Engineer within the JVM ecosystem.
• Strong proficiency in Java 21 and modern web service frameworks (Spring preferred).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure.
• Proven ability to lead technical strategy and design for distributed systems.
• Excellent communication skills to drive alignment with stakeholders.
• Must be based in or near Kraków to support a 60% office-based hybrid schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD tooling like GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk or New Relic.
• Background in Agile development environments.
