What you will do

• Lead the underwriting strategy and manage complex risks within the Media, Marketing, and Creative sector.
• Drive accelerated growth and ensure the sector meets its top and bottom-line financial targets.
• Identify and develop new opportunities for growth through pricing, product innovation, and distribution.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of underwriters.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key brokers, associations, and buying groups.
• Utilize data to identify underwriting trends and implement process improvements to enhance customer experience.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in writing media business with a proven track record in underwriting.
• ACII qualified or exempt through relevant experience as defined by the FCA.
• Strong leadership experience with a proven ability to deliver results through others.
• Deep knowledge of the Media sector and current market trends influencing insurance purchase.
• Excellent technical underwriting skills and business development acumen.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to distill complex issues into clear strategies.
