M&A Research & Data Analyst

Location: Remote within the UK

hirify.global acquires, manages, and grows software companies across diverse industries, primarily in Europe and Latin America, as part of Constellation Software.

What you will do

• Evaluate potential software acquisition targets against investment criteria.
• Assess corporations and identify viable carve-out opportunities.
• Maintain CRM data integrity, KPIs, and dashboards.
• Conduct market research across new software verticals and geographies.
• Map software M&A advisors and evaluate industry data sources, lists, and conferences.
• Support due diligence, including market analysis, contract review, competitor research, and ad hoc research projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, or engineering.
• Fluency in English and German is required.
• Experience in research or financial services is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking, intellectual curiosity, and an interest in software and technology sectors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to manipulate data from multiple sources.
• Understanding of research methodologies and M&A origination processes.
