Market Analyst (FMCG)

Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid model with normally two days per week in the office

What you will do

• Manage the production, processing, and analysis of large volumes of household purchase data.
• Prepare and deliver data reports, analyses, presentations, and actionable insights using Excel, AnalyzeIT, and PowerPoint.
• Develop and implement automation for tracking studies and data validation to improve quality, reduce errors, and increase efficiency.
• Apply appropriate analytical methodologies and contribute recommendations for efficient research processes.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to define research approaches, analytical frameworks, and reporting requirements.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an economics-related field.
• Experience with FMCG or retail topics.
• Strong analytical thinking and interest in understanding the reasons behind data patterns.
• Confident use of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good proficiency in English and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented, proactive, and able to overcome challenges with a can-do approach.
