What you will do

  • Design and optimize a headless Optimizely DXP platform supporting 150+ marketing websites.
  • Build and maintain site front-ends using Next.js deployed via Vercel.
  • Define architectural standards for content modeling, rendering strategies, and performance.
  • Implement personalization features, A/B testing, and experimentation frameworks.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to manage Vercel hosting, CI/CD pipelines, and observability.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to best practices and documentation.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience with CMS-driven marketing platforms.
  • Expert-level JavaScript/TypeScript skills, specifically Next.js and React.
  • Advanced proficiency with Optimizely CMS SaaS, Content Graph, and SDKs.
  • Experience with cloud-first front-end hosting on Vercel.
  • Deep experience designing large multi-site architectures at enterprise scale.
  • Must be based in the US.

Nice to have

  • Experience with composable MarTech stacks (CDPs, DAM).
  • Familiarity with WordPress/PHP for site migrations.
  • Ability to interpret Figma designs into code.
  • Experience with Optimizely CMP, ODP, or Opal AI subsystems.
