Associate Financial Controller (IFRS)

Location: Hybrid role (2–3 days per week onsite) based in Östermalm, Stockholm.

What you will do

• Support group accounting, consolidation, and month-end/year-end closing activities under IFRS.
• Perform group-level controls, reconciliations, variance analysis, and consolidation adjustments.
• Coordinate operational delivery of group sustainability reporting (CSRD, EU Taxonomy) for the Annual Report.
• Maintain group reporting structures, templates, master data, and reporting instructions.
• Act as a primary point of contact for local finance teams and coordinate with external auditors.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes, tools, and documentation.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as an auditor or financial controller in a group or publicly-listed environment.
• Strong foundation in IFRS and group consolidation.
• General understanding of or hands-on exposure to CSRD or ESRS reporting.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to work onsite in Stockholm 2–3 days per week.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.

Nice to have

• Experience with accounting and tax across multiple entities in the Nordics and Europe.
• Familiarity with group consolidation systems like AARO.
• Hands-on experience with ESG platforms such as Position Green.
• Swedish language proficiency.
