What you will do

• Build, deploy, and operate critical production systems with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.
• Develop automation to eliminate toil and enhance proactive monitoring and alerting.
• Create and maintain incident response runbooks and conduct postmortem analysis to prevent recurring issues.
• Plan and communicate maintenance windows while coordinating with third-party vendors.
• Collaborate with product development teams to identify infrastructural bottlenecks and improve developer workflows.
• Adopt and implement best practices for secure, fault-tolerant platform design.

Requirements

• BSc or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or shell scripting for automation.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX administration and debugging.
• Hands-on experience operating software systems at scale and server provisioning.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and strong troubleshooting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience managing databases like MariaDB, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with containerization and virtualization (Docker, KVM, QEMU).
• Experience with monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ElasticSearch).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Spinnaker, ArgoCD, or Jenkins.
• Experience with storage infrastructure (NAS, SAN, Ceph).
