What you will do

• Lead and line-manage a core team of Product Owners and BA Team Leads, including recruitment and setting expectations across career pathways.
• Run a multi-discipline Community of Practice connecting Product Owners and Business Analysts across change initiatives.
• Define, evolve, and embed ways of working for Product Owners and Business Analysts across product and programme environments.
• Develop capability uplift plans by identifying gaps, tracking maturity using data and insights, and driving continuous improvement.
• Own strategic workforce planning and operating model decisions to ensure the right skills, roles, and deployment model for delivery.
• Define performance metrics and champion outcome-focused decision-making across delivery teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading Product Owners and Business Analysts (or similar digital/change delivery professionals).
• Experience building and maturing a capability, discipline, or Community of Practice.
• Demonstrated ability to drive best-in-class ways of working across BA and/or PO communities.
• Experience shaping capability, operating model, or organisational design initiatives.
• Strong product and programme delivery experience, including discovery, backlog management, and outcome-driven delivery in complex environments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leaders across product, technology, and business functions.

Nice to have

• Experience in financial services, insurance, or other regulated industries.
• Experience designing capability frameworks, career paths, or competency models.
• Awareness of emerging trends in product, technology, or AI-enabled discovery.
