What you will do

• Serve as the primary escalation point for production support across developer tooling ecosystems.
• Own the operational reliability of Python toolchains, .NET SDKs, and IDE configurations.
• Monitor service health and performance to proactively address issues impacting developer productivity.
• Create and maintain standardized developer tooling configurations and distribution mechanisms.
• Lead developer experience initiatives by identifying and resolving friction points using build and pipeline metrics.
• Collaborate with security teams to harden tooling configurations and manage software vulnerabilities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, platform engineering, or developer tooling roles.
• Solid understanding of the Python ecosystem, including dependency management (Poetry, uv) and virtual environments.
• Familiarity with .NET development tooling and SDK management in an enterprise environment.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Demonstrated ability to drive incidents to resolution and communicate clearly under pressure.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience building or maintaining internal developer portals or self-service tooling.
• Exposure to IDE plugin or extension management at scale (VS Code, JetBrains, Visual Studio).
• Familiarity with container-based build environments or ephemeral CI runners.
• Experience with developer experience metric frameworks.
