Salary: $18.75 - $21.63 per hour.

What you will do

• Produce high-quality magazines for print and digital, including content planning, editing, and layout design.
• Coordinate with freelance writers and manage production timelines.
• Post advertising special section content to the web.
• Set and maintain quality standards for design, packaging, and production flow.
• Participate in advertising kick-offs and sales presentations for feature launches.
• Design promotional campaigns and ads to support reader and sales initiatives.

Requirements

• Must reside in Colorado.
• 2-3 years of experience in advertising, marketing, publishing, or communications.
• Proficiency in InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Word.
• Formal training in graphic design and copywriting.
• Knowledge of the commercial and newspaper printing process and AP Style.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

• Photography skills.
• Web design experience, specifically with WordPress.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communications.
