Location: 100% remote from anywhere worldwide, availability for 40 hours/week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PST required

Salary: $17–$35 per hour (California, New York, Washington, Colorado; varies by location, experience, and qualifications)

What you will do

• Plan and produce content for client websites to attract customers, boost SEO rankings, and enhance AI visibility (GEO/AEO).
• Lead a team of SEO copywriters by delegating tasks, providing direction, feedback, and support.
• Supervise copy editing to ensure brand voice, quality, spelling, grammar, and syntax standards.
• Conduct keyword research and pair client products/services with relevant search terms.
• Communicate directly with clients on copy production, onboarding, and alignment calls.
• Collaborate with producers, designers, developers, and link builders to publish content live.
• Coordinate content for ongoing SEO campaigns, social media, email, and press releases.

Requirements

• Excellent written English with strong proofreading for flawless grammar, punctuation, syntax; no AI tools allowed
• Availability for 40 hours/week, 9am-6pm PST
• Reliable workstation with fast computer, microphone, webcam, stable internet/power
• Leadership affinity and delegation skills
• Interest in web writing and SEO practices (training provided)
• Ability to follow strict content guidelines and work independently or in teams
• Strict confidentiality for client information
• Understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)

Nice to have

• Experience as marketing/advertising copywriter
• Degree in English, PR, advertising, or creative writing
• Prior management/mentorship experience
