What you will do
- Lead implementation for large features and multi-sprint backend projects using C# and .NET.
- Design and maintain performant, secure RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Decompose complex requirements into testable, robust backend solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
- Influence engineering practices including testing, design hygiene, and operational readiness.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering leads to ensure high-quality delivery.
Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Deep proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem (.NET 6+, ASP.NET Core).
- Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs with authentication and documentation.
- Expertise with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks like Entity Framework Core.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
Nice to have
- Experience using AI tools like GitHub Copilot or Claude.
- Familiarity with message brokers (Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
