Salary: $75,000 – $115,000 CAD

What you will do

• Maintain and support large-scale Java applications and complex database architectures.
• Diagnose and resolve application performance issues using APM tools like AppDynamics and Splunk.
• Design and instrument monitoring health rules, alerts, and performance dashboards.
• Identify automation opportunities to build self-remediation capabilities.
• Collaborate with senior team members to deliver solutions for the next-generation SRE-based platform.
• Manage API, microservices, and containerized environments.

Requirements

• Eligibility to work full-time in Canada is mandatory.
• 8+ years of software development or maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in application support.
• Strong expertise in Core Java, JEE, and REST APIs.
• Proficiency with Linux, Websphere, and RDBMS (Oracle/DB2).
• Experience with scripting tools such as Bash, Python, or Ansible.
• Solid understanding of ITIL service management processes and agile delivery.

Nice to have

• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) expertise.
• Experience in payment systems or the banking domain.
