What you will do

• Own and deliver reconciliation controls to ensure Financial Control Framework objectives are met.
• Drive efficiency and automation across reconciliation processes in partnership with Finance Systems.
• Act as a subject-matter expert for complex queries and month-end balance sheet reviews.
• Lead performance oversight, KPI reviews, and timely resolution of reconciliation breaks.
• Develop team capability through training, knowledge sharing, and cross-skilling.
• Support UAT and live testing for new system changes and configurations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a financial reconciliation environment.
• Detailed knowledge of bank and cash book reconciliation processes.
• Understanding of clearing bank processes including BACS, Faster Payments, and Direct Debits.
• Strong numeric skills with the ability to interpret large volumes of data.
• Ability to map end-to-end processes and simplify complex issues.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Leeds.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SUN General Ledger and ReconNet applications.
• Experience with the build and configuration of the ReconNet tool.
