Staff Fullstack Engineer

TL;DR

Staff Fullstack Engineer (Fullstack/Data): Building and optimizing end-to-end features for hirify.global’s data platform with an accent on high-performance Java APIs and modern frontend interfaces. Focus on rapid prototyping, architecting complex data visualizations, and delivering scalable B2B solutions within an agile engineering taskforce.

Location: Must be based in Cork, Ireland (Hybrid role).

What you will do

• Own end-to-end implementation of features from database schema to user interface.
• Develop high-performance Java APIs and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frontend components.
• Transform whiteboard sketches and mock-ups into working software with high velocity.
• Architect custom dashboards to visualize massive datasets in real-time.
• Design robust APIs that decouple frontend interfaces from heavy backend systems.
• Prioritize time-to-value and user experience, avoiding over-engineering.

Requirements

• 6+ years of full-stack software development experience.
• Deep proficiency in modern component-based frontend frameworks.
• Strong working knowledge of Java for backend service development.
• Data fluency with SQL and experience interacting with data platforms.
• Solid grasp of UI/UX principles for building intuitive interfaces.
• Must be eligible to work in Ireland without immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with advanced data visualization techniques.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
• Background in building internal tools or B2B SaaS applications.
