Principal Software Developer (.NET)

TL;DR

Principal Software Developer (.NET/Fullstack): Architecting and designing core components for Signal and Location Services within the hirify.global ONE platform with an accent on scalability, performance, and technical vision. Focus on building low-friction APIs, responsive web UIs, and robust backend architectures to support IoT device management.

Location: Hybrid in Galway, Ireland (minimum 3 days in-office). Relocation and visa sponsorship assistance are available for qualified candidates.

What you will do

• Define the technical vision and architect core components including APIs, services, middleware, and user interfaces.
• Develop clean, maintainable C# code for major architectural components and product features.
• Own and drive non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, and security from ideation to implementation.
• Mentor developers and QA engineers, advocating for engineering best practices and coding standards.
• Prototype and validate solutions, including proof-of-concepts for complex architectural challenges.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership and product managers to define technical strategy.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience architecting and implementing multi-tiered software applications.
• Expertise in .NET, JavaScript, Angular, and Node.js.
• Deep knowledge of relational data models, MS SQL Server, and NoSQL databases.
• Experience deploying applications in AWS or Azure and implementing CI/CD processes.
• Strong proficiency in software architecture patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Galway, Ireland.
