TL;DR
Principal Software Developer (C#/Cloud): Defining and implementing the architecture of Signal and Location Services and their integration with the SOTI ONE platform with an accent on APIs, responsive web UIs, backend services, and non-functional requirements. Focus on designing scalable and secure systems, resolving complex architectural challenges, reducing technical debt, and guiding development teams.
Location: Galway, Ireland. Hybrid work with a minimum of 3 days in-office; additional in-office days may occasionally or regularly be required. Relocation and visa sponsorship assistance are available for qualified successful candidates.

What you will do
- Define and communicate the technical vision and future architecture for Signal and Location Services and other applications.
- Architect and design APIs, services, middleware, user interfaces, and backend components.
- Write clean, maintainable C# code for major architectural components.
- Own performance, scalability, security, technical debt reduction, and other non-functional requirements.
- Review designs, guide development teams, document architectural principles, and mentor developers and QA engineers.
- Prototype complex solutions, collaborate with leadership and product teams, and lead the adoption of emerging technologies.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience architecting, designing, and implementing multi-tiered software applications.
- Strong experience with .NET, JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, and MVC.
- Excellent knowledge of relational data models, MS SQL Server, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience designing and deploying applications on AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and SonarQube integration for code coverage.
- Deep experience with software architecture patterns, documentation, agile development practices, coding standards, code reviews, source code management, build processes, and QA.
