What you will do
- Lead and execute the programming strategy and vision for all of GQ’s global digital video channels, with a focus on GQ US and British GQ.
- Expand audience reach by developing additions to existing programming, including high-cadence, “podcast”-type shows using host talent and potential partnerships.
- Maintain an on-brand, cohesive look and feel across platforms and markets.
- Own programming planning end-to-end: establish the video editorial calendar, forecast the slate, and meet or exceed KPIs while driving cultural relevance.
- Oversee development and production: run brainstorming for pilots and series, review and approve treatments/scripts/cuts, and ensure a well-maintained content pipeline with effective resurfacing of archival content.
- Partner across Editorial, Commercial, Consumer, and Business Affairs to build workflows, talent relationships, and monetizable video opportunities.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in multiplatform storytelling, including producing, developing, and programming video content across digital and linear platforms.
- Proven track record of growing audiences and delivering sustained critical success with brand-appropriate digital video programming.
- Expert knowledge of internet culture and the digital video landscape (e.g., YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, FAST), including what drives success on each platform.
- Demonstrated ability to generate multiple revenue streams from content and to proactively identify and implement solutions and infrastructure.
- Proven experience managing creative teams and juggling multiple projects in matrixed organizations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to build a culture of trust and inclusion.

- Base salary range of $180,000–$210,000, with offers based on skills, training, experience, and education.
