What you will do

• Support design teams in the selection and qualification of flight sensors.
• Define operative procedures for assembly, integration, and testing teams.
• Establish design and operative standards for flight instrumentation.
• Calculate and estimate errors within the measurement chain of complex systems.
• Perform hands-on assembly and functional testing of instrumentation equipment.
• Manage change requests and maintain updated sensor configuration files between flights.

Requirements

• Proven experience in instrumentation engineering within the aerospace industry.
• Strong understanding of sensor selection, qualification, and measurement chain analysis.
• Ability to perform hands-on assembly and testing of electronic equipment.
• Must be eligible to work in Germany and meet security clearance requirements.
• Proficiency in English for technical documentation and team collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with PCB design and debugging using common electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of aerospace communication protocols, RF, or structural load testing.
• Familiarity with lithium-ion battery systems or solenoid integration.
