Financial Accountant (Month-End Close & Reconciliations) 2nd Shift: Drive month-end close and reconciliation work across general ledger accounts with an accent on Procure-to-Pay (P2P), GR/IR reconciliations, prepaid expense amortization, and gift card activity. Focus on ensuring accurate GAAP reporting, researching invoice and clearing-account discrepancies, and reconciling Other Accounts Receivable to support timely collections.

What you will do
- Support the monthly close by preparing journal entries, reconciling general ledger accounts, and ensuring accurate reporting against company deadlines and GAAP.
- Own Procure-to-Pay accounting by recording monthly P2P accrued expenses and researching invoices in Coupa with purchase order owners.
- Prepare and maintain GR/IR reconciliations, researching and resolving reconciling items in the clearing account.
- Track, reconcile, and amortize prepaid expenses (insurance, rent, tax, and other miscellaneous prepaids) with timely reporting.
- Monitor gift card purchase and usage activity to ensure accurate recording.
- Reconcile Other Accounts Receivable to support timely collection of amounts due.
Requirements
- Location: Kraków, Poland (hybrid role with onsite presence 3–5 times per month at Wielicka 30)
- Availability to work the 2nd shift (3pm–11pm) to support the US market.
- At least 3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
- English: C1 level (very good English skills)
- Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices with high attention to detail.
