Salary: $145,250 - $183,750

What you will do

• Design and execute manual test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and/or Node.js.
• Contribute to test plans covering cloud services, APIs, and hardware integrations.
• Participate in system, integration, regression, and release testing.
• Investigate, document, and reproduce defects to support efficient resolution.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve test coverage and quality practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in San Diego, CA
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in manual and automated software testing.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js for test automation.
• Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP, MQTT).
• Experience leveraging AI to increase QA productivity.

Nice to have

• Experience testing IoT devices or hardware products.
• Background in fleet management, automotive, or telematics platforms.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
