What you will do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for field software issues at customer and test sites.
• Conduct structured triage of technical issues in collaboration with UK and US engineering teams.
• Travel to customer sites to diagnose and resolve deployment issues in live automated environments.
• Build deep familiarity with the full automation software stack to enable effective troubleshooting.
• Communicate professionally with customer and operator teams to manage expectations on-site.
• Provide structured feedback to core engineering teams to drive continuous product improvement.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to Frimley, UK for on-site work.
• Strong software foundation with experience in embedded or industrial systems.
• Proven ability to perform hands-on diagnostics and debugging in live, physical environments.
• Professional communication skills for direct customer and operator engagement.
• Comfortable with travel across the UK and Europe as the program scales.
• Ability to work effectively with remote, cross-cultural engineering teams.

• Background in applications engineering or commissioning.
