Focus on driving transformation in tax operations, managing complex tax risk governance, and providing strategic oversight for a multinational financial services organization.

Location: Must be based in London (Hybrid work arrangements available).

What you will do

  • Oversee global corporate tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions and manage end-to-end compliance cycles.
  • Lead the evolution of the Group’s tax risk management framework and ensure alignment with enterprise risk strategies.
  • Drive efficiency, automation, and continuous improvement across global tax workflows and outsourced models.
  • Provide strategic tax input on business initiatives, transactions, and operating model changes.
  • Maintain robust documentation of tax processes, controls, and risk assessments for senior leadership and the Board.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with HMRC and global tax authorities.

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of experience in corporate tax compliance and risk management within financial services or complex multinational environments.
  • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent) is required.
  • Strong knowledge of UK corporate tax and exposure to international tax compliance.
  • Proven ability to lead and improve outsourced tax compliance models.
  • Demonstrated success managing tax risk frameworks in large, regulated organizations.
