Indirect Tax Analyst

TL;DR

Indirect Tax Analyst (Finance): Managing end-to-end indirect and withholding tax compliance for the EMEA region with an accent on VAT accounting, data integrity, and ERP system reconciliation. Focus on ensuring audit-ready documentation, resolving tax variances, and supporting the transition to SAP S/4HANA within a collaborative shared service environment.

Location: Must be based in London, UK (Hybrid: minimum 2 days per week in the office)

What you will do

• Manage the preparation of VAT, WHT, and statutory reports for the EMEA region.
• Perform end-to-end reconciliations between ERP data and tax reporting modules.
• Maintain comprehensive audit-ready documentation for all tax filings.
• Act as the primary point of contact for regional affiliates regarding data queries.
• Track filing statuses, payments, and refunds using internal compliance trackers.
• Collaborate with the Process Improvement team to enhance SOPs and system workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in indirect tax compliance or VAT accounting in a multinational environment.
• Solid understanding of UK and EU VAT regulations.
• Strong analytical mindset with a commitment to rigorous documentation standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Must be able to work from the London office at least 2 days per week.

Nice to have

• Language fluency in Italian, French, German, or Spanish.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or OneSource Indirect Tax modules.
• Familiarity with JIRA or PEGA workflow management tools.
