What you will do

• Lead or assist with ceded reinsurance placements, including structuring and administration.
• Partner with underwriting leadership to align reinsurance strategies with product offerings.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with reinsurers and brokers.
• Manage placement timelines and ensure timely, well-communicated renewals.
• Ensure compliance with approved reinsurer lists and regulatory documentation.
• Collaborate with Data & Analytics to validate data and identify trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• US Work Authorization required (no sponsorship).
• 3–5 years (Analyst) or 5+ years (Sr. Analyst) of experience in insurance/reinsurance or broking.
• Understanding of reinsurance structures (XOL, RPP, Aggregate, QS) and contract wording.
• Analytical knowledge of insurance, reinsurance accounting, and actuarial concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.

Nice to have

• ARE, CPCU, or ARM certifications.
• Catastrophe modeling knowledge.
• 1–5 years of experience in reinsurance contract wording.
