What you will do
- Maintain and operate two Siemens RDS Eclipse cyclotrons and associated supporting systems (ACS and RNDS).
- Perform troubleshooting and repairs on RF systems, high-voltage power supplies, and high-vacuum systems.
- Manage radiation protection, monitoring, and adherence to ALARP principles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Oversee documentation control for cyclotron vault SOPs and maintain an accurate spare parts inventory.
- Provide on-call and out-of-hours engineering support and training for operators.
Requirements
- Degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or a related technology.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in PET cyclotron operation and maintenance.
- Essential knowledge of working with radioactive materials and strict adherence to safety rules.
- Fluent English proficiency.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and provide out-of-hours on-call support.
