What you will do

• Debug, maintain, and enhance automated test systems for high-volume optical component manufacturing.
• Drive capital efficiency through test time reduction, yield improvement, and strategic test optimization.
• Improve fault isolation and troubleshooting capabilities for manufacturing and field returns.
• Support failure analysis and root cause identification for components and sub-systems.
• Enable new product introduction by testing prototypes and pilot builds at manufacturing partner sites.
• Lead test system replication, transfer, and bring-up at partner locations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing automated test systems and software for production environments.
• Expertise in optical or high-speed electronic test system development.
• Expert-level programming skills for automated test environments (ATE).
• Strong understanding of optical component testing and manufacturing processes.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and external partner teams.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with MATLAB and National Instruments test tools.
• Extensive test equipment control and automation experience.
• Background supporting test activities across global manufacturing partners.
• Experience driving yield improvement initiatives using data analytics.
• Exposure to failure analysis of optical components and sub-systems.
