What you will do

• Monitor systems for software errors and capacity issues to ensure continuous operational performance.
• Resolve complex market data and private data connectivity issues in collaboration with clients and exchanges.
• Manage exchange feed integrations and lead trading system implementation or upgrade projects.
• Partner with business analysts to develop and deliver scalable solutions for reported technical issues.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients regarding technical and non-technical matters.

Requirements

• Must have full working rights in Australia (Citizenship or Permanent Residency).
• At least 4 years of commercial experience in the trading technology industry.
• 2+ years of experience supporting financial trading data or protocols such as FIX, OMnet, ITCH, or OUCH.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, scripting, and Git version control.
• Proven background in incident management and application component deployment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical information for diverse audiences.

• Experience with fixed income or OTC market structures.
