What you will do

• Design foundational patterns and guardrails for building, evaluating, and deploying AI agents in production.
• Lead the evolution of the developer control plane into an AI-augmented self-service platform.
• Architect large-scale, high-availability distributed systems on AWS using AI-driven observability.
• Mentor senior engineers in advanced agentic patterns, LLM integration, and production prompt engineering.
• Drive cross-functional initiatives to align agentic AI adoption with company objectives.
• Establish infrastructure-as-code best practices for agentic systems, ensuring versioning and testing.

Requirements

• Must be based in Mexico (no visa sponsorship provided).
• 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and managing large-scale distributed systems.
• Proven experience architecting and scaling AI-driven systems in production.
• Mastery of AWS (EKS, Lambda, Bedrock) and Kubernetes at scale.
• Strong coding expertise in Python and/or Go.
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible.

Nice to have

• Experience with service mesh (Linkerd, Istio) and traffic management.
• Proficiency with GitOps (Argo CD, Flux CD) and CI/CD orchestration.
• Experience with MLOps or LLMOps concepts.
• Familiarity with security frameworks for AI systems.
