What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure production platforms and services.
• Build and maintain resilient infrastructure and deployment patterns in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across the organization.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support critical services and ensure platform availability.
• Drive standardization, automation, and documentation to reduce operational overhead.
• Contribute across the full lifecycle of platform delivery, from initial design through to optimization.

Requirements

• Must be based in Mexico or Brazil.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes at scale and deep understanding of container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language and effective scripting.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or OCI) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana).

Nice to have

• Experience managing and scaling Elasticsearch in production.
• Knowledge of Kafka, Redis, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Strong networking fundamentals and experience with distributed systems.
