What you will do

• Provide technical leadership to define, evolve, and implement enterprise data platform architecture using Databricks and AWS-native services.
• Architect, design, and lead delivery of Business Intelligence and related analytics services.
• Design and deliver high-quality code by promoting and defining INDG best practices.
• Build scalable, high-availability, high-performance products with deep understanding of frontend and backend architectures on AWS.
• Lead cross-team efforts and projects spanning multiple domains and business units, including technical roadmap/vision contributions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and communicate technical solutions to non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software development experience building commercial applications using modern software engineering principles and practices.
• Demonstrated experience building data pipelines, data quality, data governance, and analytics/BI solutions.
• Expertise leveraging Spark, PySpark, Python, SQL, Databricks, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and MLflow.
• Experience with AWS and modern cloud architectures (serverless, event-driven architecture, microservices, microfrontend, CI/CD, infrastructure as code).
• Strong software engineering practices across the full SDLC: coding standards, architecture/design patterns, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
