What you will do

• Take ownership of large-scale competition economics projects and litigation matters.
• Conduct rigorous economic analysis and provide strategic advice on mergers and antitrust cases.
• Manage and mentor a small team of consultants to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with Managing Directors and global BRG teams on complex cross-border assignments.
• Communicate complex economic concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders.
• Work autonomously while maintaining high standards of analytical precision.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (M.A., M.Sc., or PhD) in Economics or a related field.
• Professional proficiency in both English and German.
• Extensive experience in litigation and mergers within a competition consulting environment.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and statistical programming languages such as R, Stata, or Python.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to producing high-quality, detail-oriented economic analysis.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of additional languages such as French, Spanish, Italian, or Polish.
