What you will do

• Develop and implement public procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
• Analyze procurement needs and conduct market research to identify potential suppliers.
• Draft comprehensive requests for public tenders, including weighted evaluation and awarding criteria.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with public procurement laws and regulatory frameworks.
• Manage vendor relations, monitor performance, and resolve disputes.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance client procurement knowledge and maturity.

Requirements

• Master's degree in applied economics, law, engineering, computer science, statistics, or econometrics.
• 3 to 6 years of experience within a consultancy firm or governmental institution.
• Deep knowledge of public tendering procedures, including obligations, rules, and threshold amounts.
• Fluency in French, Dutch, and English (Non-Dutch speakers will not be accepted).
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize options into clear conclusions.
• Valid right to work in Belgium.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Belgian and international legislation.
• Willingness to participate in temporary assignments abroad, specifically in France or the Netherlands.
• Strong interest and ability to build expertise in data and AI-related topics.
