DevOps Engineer (Co-op)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain cloud deployment pipelines and workflows.
• Contribute to continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Automate operational tasks and system integrations using scripts.
• Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and Chef.
• Monitor system health and performance through custom scripts and tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement efficient deployment strategies.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
• Foundational understanding of cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Experience with GitOps and IaC practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Helm.
• Experience with web servers like Nginx or Apache.
