What you will do

• Architect and build a next-generation internal platform to support rapid engineering innovation.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform modules.
• Partner with development teams to identify performance bottlenecks and drive cloud cost savings.
• Design systems for deploying, managing, and scaling applications on Kubernetes.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical initiatives across the infrastructure team.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability and resolve production incidents.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance required.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
• 7+ years of professional experience in cloud engineering or related disciplines.
• Deep hands-on experience with AWS services and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or PHP.
• Strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Nice to have

• AWS Professional or Specialty certifications.
• Experience with observability tools like Datadog, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry.
• Proven track record of driving large-scale cloud cost reductions.
