What you will do

• Develop partnership weather content specifically for digital channels, including vertical video, social media, and online text.
• Collaborate closely with Met Office partners to build strong relationships and ensure delivery of first-class weather content.
• Produce original and creative story treatments and digital production assets.
• Present weather stories across digital and broadcast platforms as required.
• Utilize audience analytics and measurement tools to refine and optimize content impact.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from the Met Office HQ in Exeter, UK.
• Proven experience in digital platform reporting and presenting in both recorded and live environments.
• Demonstrable understanding of meteorology and related subject areas.
• Excellent writing skills and strong editorial judgement.
• Knowledge of hirify.global compliance procedures and Editorial Policy.
• Ability to work shifts and weekends.
